This fully restored, working, 18th century windmill is  the oldest of it's kind in the country. it is perfectly located to harness the winds sweeping over the plains of Elphin. Unusual features include its thatched revolving roof and four sails that are turned into the wind by using a tailpole attached to a cartwheel on a circular track. 

Admission Prices - Adults: €5.00; Child: €3.00. Family: €12.00

It is open  Monday-Friday 11am-3pm and weekends by appointment
