We have an exciting mix of contributors for this year’s conference, Ireland’s ONLY annual community archaeology conference, and we will be hosting sessions on Graveyard Studies, Adopt A Monument Projects, Medieval Studies, Wetland Archaeology, Parish Studies, Landscape Archaeology, Aerial Remote Sensing and projects located in the environs around Rathcroghan. We will also have table displays and information from the Heritage Council and Ordnance Survey Ireland.


Each day will be concluded with a contribution from our keynote speaker, Dr. Niall Brady, a leading authority in Irish medieval archaeology,Director of the Archaeological Diving Company Ltd and Project Director of Castles in Communities.
