Strokestown Park presents Chapterhouse outdoor theatre group who will perform The Wind in the Willows in the walled Victorian Gardens on the 6th of August at 5pm.

The audience will join Badger, Ratty, Mole and Toad in the walled Victorian gardens on their hilarious adventure to find the best picnic spot. Skilfully adapted from Kenneth Graham’s classic children’s book, the performance is alive with music and song. This magical family show is presented in beautiful traditional costume and features a woodland parade during the interval to participate in.
Chapterhouse was originally founded to tour Shakespearean productions but this has grown to be one of the foremost classical literature touring companies in the UK. They bring their popular production to Strokestown Park for the first time this summer following several successful summer season including performances the Royal Botanic Gardens Dublin, Powerscourt Gardens and Ardgillan Castle.
