THE COUNTY ROSCOMMON SOCIETY OF NEW YORK

The County Roscommon Society of New York, Inc. brings together people with Roscommon heritage. The Society was organized July 16, 1931 and led by its first President Andrew Trimble. Over the years, many emigrants from County Roscommon and their children have enjoyed many events and friendships from being part of the organization. Today our organization is strong and active as we continue to promote and foster our Irish culture and traditions in the New York and surrounding areas. Our organization also provides our members with an opportunity to keep in touch with old friends as well as keeping current on events in County Roscommon.

Mission Statement:

To foster and encourage friendship, understanding and social activities among its members and to encourage and participate in such lawful exercises and activities as will promote and advance the interests of its members in the United States.
